Obituary of Bruce Allan Miner
It is with heavy hearts the family of Bruce Allan Miner announces his passing on October 9th, 2021 surrounded by his loving family at the age 69 at Strathroy Middle General Hospital. Bruce was spending his time where he loved most, farming with his children in the fields, up until the day before his passing. Beloved husband of Brenda Miner (Nee Blain) of 39 cherished years. Loving father of Lee (Jaclyn) Miner, Pam (Dallas) Cundick, Scott (Sarah) Miner, and Dale (Katie) Miner. Proud and devoted Grampy of Charlotte, Hazel, Adelore, Mabel, Annabelle, Mac, Alice, and Jackson. Bruce is survived by his brother Jim Miner, brother-in-law Brad (Marsha) Blain and his sister-in-law Heather (Garry) Straatman. Son-in-law of Kenneth Blain. Predeceased by his parents Ralph and Maxine Miner, his sister-in-law Annette and his mother-in-law Jeanne Blain. Bruce will be sadly missed and remembered by his nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends throughout the community.
Bruce was dedicated to his community, serving on many agricultural boards, including Lambton Junior Farmers, Farm Safety, Lambton Feeder Finance, Breeder’s Finance, Lambton Cattleman Association, as well as a dedicated member of the Watford United Church Steward’s. Bruce’s love of his puzzles and John Deere will be forever remembered.
A private family service will be held on Tuesday, October 12th, 2021 at DENNING’S OF WATFORD. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Lambton 4-H Association. Online condolences and donations may be left at www.watfordfuneralhome.com.
