Brodie David Carter
2000-2021
Brodie David
Carter
Forever
young, forever 21
Brodie departed this life at the age of 21 on
Tuesday, November 16, 2021. He was a beloved son, grandson, brother
and friend. Although he left this world far too soon, he left this
world a better place.
He is survived by his parents, who love him
more than words can express, Kelly (Dean) Carter, Mike (Michelle)
Carter; as well as his devoted brother, Tanner Carter; grandparents,
David and Cindy Crocker, Wayne and Donna Carter and Judi Benjamin;
stepsiblings, Dakota and Dawson Balsor and Emily and Grady Hollis; his
adored snake, Cecil, whom he took such great care of. He will be
greatly missed by his best friend, Christian Rosenberger; his close
friends and neighbours, Mike and Misty Cogswell, whom we owe so much
thanks for always being there for him. Brodie will also be missed
dearly by his aunts, uncles and cousins.
Brodie could always be found with a hat on his
head and a knife in his pocket. He enjoyed gardening, hunting, being
outdoors, warm beer, pizza and garlic fingers. He loved maple syrup
and he put that s#it on everything. He enjoyed spending time with his
best friend and his brother.
He was extremely loyal and a very dedicated and
hard worker. He was the fastest grocery shopper I have ever seen.
Brodie had the biggest heart and he loved with all he had. He was
smart and had a brilliant memory, able to recall more facts than
anyone I know.
He loved his grandmother’s (Nan)
cooking and he always made sure Gramp had a supply of bird food and a
greeting of « Hey Gramp » when he picked it up. He
will be greatly missed by his brother Tanner – who looked up
to him greatly and will forever hold him in his heart and memories.
Brodie was thoughtful, always thankful and one hell of a
guy.
A Celebration of Brodie’s life will
be held from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 24,
2021 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville. Brodie loved wearing
a hat, and to honour him, the family has asked that guests wear a hat
of any style for Brodie. In accordance
with the Nova Scotia Proof of Full Vaccination Policy, proof of full
vaccination will be required to attend visitations, services and
receptions held in or by the White Family Funeral
Home. Donations in memory may be made to CMHA Kings County
Branch. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family
Funeral Home and Cremation Services,
Kentville.

a lot of things blamed on me that never happened. But then,
there’s a lot of things that I did that I never got
caught. » – Johnny
