Obituary of Bridget Traverse
Passed peacefully away at Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion, Carbonear on Wednesday, February 24, 2021, Bridget Traverse of Kingston, age 86 years.
Predeceased by husband: Michael; daughter: Angela Earle; grandson: Ronnie Johnson; son-in-law: Cecil Buckler; parents: Robert and Mabel Rose; brother: Norman (Edna) Rose; sisters: Madeline (John) Martin and Margritte (Bill) Power; special friends: Tom White, Annie Traverse, and Helen Butt.
Leaving to mourn, children: Marg (Ronald) Johnson, Joan (Brenden) Milley, Jean Buckler, Aggie (Edward) Doyle, Michael (Bonnie), Tiny (Royden) King, Bob (Michelle), Bernice (Dennis) Sellars, and Dennis (Joanne); son-in-law: Dave Earle (Liz); a large number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother: Ron (Elizabeth) Rose; two sisters: Angela Power and Marie (Neville) Lockyer; extended members of the Traverse family; special friend: Ebin White; also a large number of other relatives and friends.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions there will be no visitation or funeral service. A private committal service will take place on Friday, February 26 at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, Kingston.
In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Cemetery Fund, c/o PO Box 79, Northern Bay, NL, A0A 3B0.
