BELANGER, Brian Valentine
July 5, 1951 – July 4, 2021
Passed away on Sunday, July 4, 2021, just one day short of his 70thbirthday. Cherished spouse of Iris Merrifield for 13 years. Loving father of Jamie (Amy) Belanger. Grandpa Brian of Aiden, Gavin and Lydia. Stepfather of Chris (Patty-Lynn), Don and Scott (Kristin). Dear son of late Gerard and surviving Bella Belanger (nee Labute). Beloved brother of the late Donald, surviving Jerry (Pat) and late Donna. Uncle Brian to late Armand, David, Laura, Jeff, and Allan. Special cousin of Blanche Cavanagh (Gus Gendron). He will be missed by many family and friends. Brian enjoyed playing golf every Tuesday afternoon at Dominion Golf Course with his buddies and spending days on the green with his son Jamie. He enjoyed going boating and fishing with Iris and his mother Bella. Brian and Iris loved to travel. They enjoyed going to Ohio to visit Jamie and his family and attending his grandkids extracurricular activities. They travelled to many different places including Ottawa and Atlanta Georgia to visit Iris’ family.Iris will miss starting their days together on their porch with their coffees. Jamie will miss his weekly phone calls and conversations catching up with his Dad. Arrangements entrusted to WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., 519-253-7234. In keeping with Brian’s wishes, a private family viewing will take place, with cremation to follow. Interment at Heavenly Rest Cemetery to take place at a later date.
