Obituary of Brenda Shewmaker
Brenda passed away peacefully at Grey Bruce Health Services in Owen Sound, on Sunday, February 21, 2021. Born in Kincardine, Ontario, on August 21, 1948, Brenda Elaine (née Farrow) Shewmaker, of Shallow Lake, formerly of Marian, Ohio, was in her 73rd year.
Beloved partner and best friend of Ken Middleton of Shallow Lake. Loving mother of Todd Reece Sr., Tonya Hickman, Shannon Shewmaker (Amy), Robin and Wendy, grandma of Todd Jr., Kyle, Kolten, Channtel, Cristen, Scott, Reign, and great grandma of eight, all of Ohio. Also missed by Ken’s children Vern (Laura), Amanda, and Ken’s grandchildren Tristen, Ethen and Caitlin. Survived by her brothers Brent Farrow (Karen) of Florida and Kevin Farrow (Irene) of Southampton.
Predeceased by her husband David Shewmaker (2010), her daughter Amy, and by her parents Allan and Glenna.
Cremation is taking place and a private memorial service to celebrate Brenda’s life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to the Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, Owen Sound, 519-376-7492.
