John Bosch passed away peacefully on July 3, 2021, at the age of 90. John was predeceased by his wife of 60 years Minnie, (d. 2018). John is survived by his 3 children Doug (Michelle), Jeff (Trish Rhodes), and Marian (Bob Myles); 7 grandchildren Stephanie, Mike, Alyssa, Erik, Ainsley, Stephen, and Justin; and 3 great-grandchildren Isabel, Casey, and Rosalie; as well as his sister Ada.
John loved all things mechanical. A career automotive mechanic, John was always fascinated with how things worked and loved to look at exotic cars and boats. The faster, the better. He loved to watch racing on television.
John and Minnie loved to travel whenever they could. They were active with the Dutch Klompen Dancers in Edmonton, AB and travelled many places to perform. After relocating to Kelowna, BC in 1998, they made many new friends and enjoyed their life in Kelowna.
A Memorial Service will be held on FRIDAY, JULY 9, 2021 AT 1:00 PM at the Kelowna Christian Reformed Church, 239 Snowsell Street, Kelowna, BC.
The family would like to thank Dr. Jasper Stone and the staff at the Cottonwoods Acute Care and the Central Okanagan Hospice House for their wonderful care.
