Bonita’s Obituary
Bonita L. Fry, age 77 of Barrington Passage, passed away July 29 at home after a battle with pulmonary fibrosis. Born in Centerville, Shelburne County, she was the daughter of Peter and Nellie Atkinson.
Bonnie owned her own business for 12 years, operating a photo store, one hour lab, portrait studio and custom framing shop. She previously worked in Wilsons Ladies Fashion Shop and for a number of years was engaged in wedding photography. Bonnie and her husband, Jack loved to travel and made many memorable vacation trips especially numerous trips to Hawaii. She loved the 15 summers spent at Louis Head Beach Campground and before that, the 20 years at Oak Hill Pines Campground in Bridgewater. Upon retirement they spent 19 winters in Florida.
Bonnie is survived by her husband of 58 years, Jack, 3 children, David (Angela) of Centerville, Ronald (Lisa) of Calgary and Margaret (Craig) Tanner of Burton, NB, 6 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, brothers David, Stephen and Dana.
She was predeceased by her father and brother, Peter Jr.

In Keeping with Bonnie’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. A private interment will take place at the Anglican Cemetery in Barrington Passage at a later date.
