Mattinson, Robert Wayne « Bobby » – 68, Oxford, passed away August 25th, 2021 in QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax. Born in Oxford, he was a son of the late Robert and Elizabeth (Marshall) Mattinson. He is survived by wife, the former Shirley Rushton; daughter, Laurie (Parker Archibald); son, Dwayne; grandchildren, Brayden, Janai, Cole, Haylie, Charley, Morgan and Danica; brothers, Brad, Glen and Gary; sisters, Helen, Donna, Theresa, Brenda and Susan; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters, Diana, and Beverly in infancy. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Wednesday, September 1 in MacDiarmid’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Oxford, followed by graveside service at 4:30 p.m. in Thomson Cemetery.
