Bill Brown Friday November 5th 2021

BROWN, William Edward “Bill” – Passed away surrounded by his family at home on Friday, November 5, 2021. Bill was the beloved husband of Edna Marie (née Black) in their 64th year of marriage. Loving Dad of Donna Wilson (David), Joanne Brown (Greg Boyd), and Kim Wilson (Pete). Cherished Grandpa of David, Jason, Randy, Christopher; Alannah, Karlee, Summer; Nicole and Candice, and Great-Grandpa of 15. Dear brother of Ruth Brethour, Don Brown (Nancy) and predeceased by Noreen, Bob, Norma, Hartley, Ivan and Stanley. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Bill was a man of few words with a unique sense of humor, and always said what was on his mind. He enjoyed life, refused drama and was a big tease. Bill was a very giving person who would give a shirt off his back to help anyone. After retirement his devotion was caring for his chickens (who were all named after his sisters-in-laws), animals, farming, and tinkering in his shed. He had a great passion for hunting, especially his annual Moose Hunt (the “Cook” at the camp); carpentry, western movies, and his old “watering hole’s” to have a pint of beer. Bill’s last wishes was to be taken to Jelico to be in the great outdoors.
A visitation will take place at the Stoddart Funeral Home, 24 Mill Street, Lindsay on Wednesday, November 10th from 6:00 until 8:00p.m. If desired, a memorial donation can be made to the Hunters and Anglers Association would be appreciated by the family. Online donations and condolences can be made through www.stoddartfuneralhome.com
