Obituary of Beverly Anne Aalbers
Beverly Anne Aalbers (nee Bertasson) of Milton, Ontario passed away peacefully, after a long battle with Lyme Disease and cancer, at the age of 60, with her husband, Jac by her side.
A private family funeral service will be held at Jones Funeral Home on October 16th at 3pm. Visitation will be held at Jones funeral home in Georgetown on October 16th from 1-3pm.
Bev was born on October 26, 1960 in Milton, Ontario. She worked as an educational assistant with the Halton Board of Education for 30 years before retiring in 2018. She loved to teach and advocate for others. She was a huge advocate for Lyme Disease and worked tirelessly as a board member with Lyme Ontario to raise awareness and educate the public. She was adventurous and loved to rock climb, snow shoe, ice climb with Jac, she loved spending time outdoors and with her family especially her grandkids, they were her pride and joy.
She is predeceased by her father, Dante Bertasson and brother, Glen
She is survived by her mother, Betty Bertasson, her husband Jac, her children Nick (Lisa), Jackie (Geordy) and Chris (Ashely), her 5 grandchildren Aubrey, Amelia, Gabriella (Gabby), Spencer and Logan, her brothers, Gary, Rick, Dale, Steve and sister, Diana. Dearest friends Irene Jo and Albert. She will be sorely missed by her many nieces, nephews and dearest friends.

The family would like to thank Dr. Maureen McShane, Dr. Elliot Jacobsen and the rest of the staff with Lyme Ontario for the care they provided Bev with her battle with Lyme Disease, the Oncology Team including Dr. Vincent and his many nurses and staff at London Health Sciences Centre, the wonderful nurses and staff at Goderich Memorial Hospital and CCAC for the loving care they provided to Bev in her final days.
