Betty Jane was born and raised in Loring, Ontario to parents John Bernard Tuffy of Loring and Marjorie Jean (Cotter) Tuffy of Sunridge. Betty Jane had a fierce love for her family. She was a matriarch that exemplified kindness, compassion and how to love others well. She always had time for a cup of tea or a bowl of her famous potato soup, with a listening ear and a well-placed question with her children and grandchildren. She loved life and had a sense of humor that made even the most mundane tasks enjoyable such as weeding the garden, dusting or picking berries. Her outward beauty and keen fashion sense were no comparison to her inward determination and unconditional love. Betty Jane is predeceased by her husband Thomas Patrick Odorizzi, formerly of Arnstein. Loving mother to her 5 children Mary Lou Labreche (David), Lesley Robb (Tim), Angela Odorizzi McCarthy (Kerry), Sherrie Odorizzi and Stephen Odorizzi (Louise). Betty Jane is survived by her sister Linda Ferguson (Tuffy) and brother Gerry Tuffy. She is preceded in death by her twin brothers Jack Tuffy and Edward Tuffy, Robin Tuffy, Timothy Tuffy and Michael Tuffy. She will be greatly missed by her 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Predeceased by one grandson. Betty Jane is now at peace being reunited with those who have gone before her. May she rest knowing that her fingerprints are left behind on all those she loved. The family wish to extend their deepest and sincere gratitude to Dr. Cowan for his exemplary care, compassion and support. A very special thank you to the dialysis team and renal unit of the North Bay Regional Health Centre. The family would like to express appreciation and thanks to the nurses and staff on B-3 and a very heartfelt thank you to the Palliative unit on C-3. To the amazing two nurses Sandy and Stephanie a heartfelt thank you for your kindness and compassion extended to the family at this very difficult time.
