Bertha Boudreau
1934-2021
Dorey.
Our mother lived her life guided by her strong &
resilient faith and never wavered even when faced with the many
hardships and difficulties she endured. Her devotion and love for her
three children and eight grandchildren were ever present and she
glowed with pride at the mere mention of their names. Her active days
were spent keeping busy and doing for others, whether baking for the
sick or visiting them in hospital as she always put others before
herself. ‘Bertha Butts’ always showed kindness and
generosity everywhere she went with her hilarious & quirky
sense of humour, her winning smile and giving heart. Her spirit will
truly be missed by all who knew her.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her partner of 22
years, Bert G. Sampson; brothers Joseph, Clifford, Amedee, &
Alfred Dorey and sisters Violet Dorey, Viola Tyrrell, Agnes Goyetche,
Isabelle LeJeune, Theresa Dorey, Helen Dorey & Jean
Hart.
She is survived by her brothers George & Angus Dorey
and last remaining sister Sandra Clancy; her son Wayne Boudreau of
Kentville, NS; daughter Paulette Boudreau (Trevor) of Moncton, NB; and
daughter Lisa (Kevin) Deighan of Fredericton, NB; her eight cherished
grandchildren – Justin & Jordan Boudreau; Jeffery, Alex
& Kelly Vass; Daniel Boudreau and Emmett & Corey
Deighan; as well as seven treasured
great-grandchildren.
