Obituary of Bernadette Matheson
Peacefully at Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Monday, July 5, 2021 the death occurred of Bernadette Matheson of Brudenell, age 59 years.
Daughter of John and Anita Macdonald. Beloved sister of Kay Court, Margaret Shanahan (John), Brenda MacIsaac (Laurie), James MacIsaac (Elaine), Laurie Callbeck (Trevor) and Karen Coffin. Bernadette is survived by nieces and nephews Billy, Sacha, Tyler, Zachary, Ashleigh and Mallareigh.
With grieving hearts, we will deeply miss Bernie’s giving, unselfish nature and even bigger heart & soul. However, we, Bernie’s family, draw comfort knowing the Lord has reunited her Sheila. Predeceased by her birth parents Robert and Leah (Feltmate) Matheson and sister Sheila Matheson.
Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, Stratford. Due to current restrictions, a private visitation and funeral service will be held.
Interment will take place at Cross Roads Christian Church Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to Hospice Palliative Care Association of PEI or the PEI Cancer Treatment Centre of the QEH.
