Beatrice’s Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Beatrice Laura Wells (nee Budgell) announces her passing on Friday, October 8th, 2021 at the Health Sciences Centre in St. John’s, NL at the age of 76 years. Beatrice was the daughter of the late Theodore and Bessie Budgell (nee Hibbs). She was also predeceased by her husband; Raymond Wells, children; Zigmond Grzybowski, Christopher Grzybowski, brothers; Fred (Leia) Budgell, Allan (Gertie) Budgell, sisters; Doris (Sam) Wells, Effie (Ernie) Carl, Pearl (Dennis) Railey, Rowie (Arthur) Reid, Bernice (Columbus) Hall, and Dalsie (Nelson) Boone. Beatrice was also predeceased by her father and mother-in-law; George and Ella Wells, brothers-in-law; Albert Norman, Arthur Keeping, and sister-in-law; Winifred Budgell.
Beatrice leaves behind with many fond and precious memories her sons; Andy Grzybowski, Timothy (Luisa) Wells, sisters; Florie Noseworthy, Gladys Budgell, Phyllis Keeping, brothers; Ted Budgell (Pauline March), and special niece; Donna Sullivan, plus a large circle of nieces, nephews and many friends.
Beatrice loved her family and in her pastime she was an avid quilt maker. Everyone loved her and her quilts. She will remain in our hearts forever.
In keeping with Beatrice’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family interment will take place at a later date in Port aux Basques.
