Barbara (Usselman) Deichert
May 4, 1935 – May 19, 2021
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Barbara Deichert. She is lovingly survived by her sons Brian and Don Deichert; her grandchildren Jason (Adrienne) Deichert, Krystal (Jason) Mayo, Chelsi Deichert (Tanner Franson), Lindsay Deichert (Dale Piprell), Avery Deichert (Zachary Deiana), Brooklynn Deichert; her great-grandchildren Cody Deichert, Maia Pepler, McKenzie and Hunter Mayo, Bowen Franson, Ember and Cayde Piprell; her brother Eddie Usselman and her sister Elsie (Ron) Senger; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Barb was predeceased by her loving husband Kasper Deichert; son Doug Deichert; parents John and Francis Usselman; brother Leo Usselman; sisters Jennie Graves, Eda Burge and Eva Senger; brothers-in-law Otto Senger, Ray Graves and Jake Getzlaf; sisters-in-law Lorraine Usselman and Veronica Usselman. Barb grew up on the family farm near Allan, SK. She and Kasper married March 01, 1954 and later moved to Saskatoon where she worked for many years doing deliveries for Pinders and the Community Clinic. In the winter months she would frequent Arizona, always bringing back gag gifts to pull pranks on her family. Barb was truly one of a kind. If you didn’t find her in the kitchen cooking wonderful meals, she was dancing, going for a walk, teaching aerobics, or in her living room making people laugh and playing games. Her fun-loving spirit and wonderful sense of humour made a lasting impression on everyone she met. She will be forever loved and missed by her family and friends.
Nos plus sincères sympathies à la famille et aux amis de Barbara Deichert 2021..
