Obituary of Audrey Frances Wolno
It is with deep sadness that the family of Audrey Wolno, wife of the late Fred Wolno, announces her passing on Friday, September 10, 2021, at The Church of St. John & St. Stephen Home. Born in St. Lawrence, NL on June 5, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Mary Rose.
Audrey is survived by her daughter Judy Douglas (Ivan) and her son Fred (Annette), cherished grandchildren Donna Saunders (Brad), Michael Douglas (Heather), Nicole Wolno (Travis Firth) and John Wolno (Michael Day), and great grandchildren Julia and Kate Saunders, Anna and Sarah Douglas and Chloe Wolno and Carter Firth. She is also survived by sister-in-law Barbara Rodda, several nephews, and a niece.
In addition to her husband and parents Audrey is predeceased by her brothers and their wives – Wilson (Beatrice), Wallace (Georgina), Earl (Dorothy) and Albert (Sophie) and her nephew Derek Rose. She is the last surviving member of her immediate family.
The family would like to thank the staff of The Church of St. John & St. Stephen Home for the wonderful care Audrey received while residing there.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (634-7424) A Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at 12 PM in the Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel. Masks will be mandatory for all guests attending. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada.
