Obituary of Audrey Ann Serruys
Serruys: Audrey Ann (nee Jones) –
A resident of Dutton, Audrey Serruys peacefully passed away with Maurice at her side at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on September 10, 2021 at the age of 79.
Born in Euphemia Township, Audrey was the daughter of the late Cecil and Leona (nee Meloche) Jones.
Beloved wife of 23 years to Maurice Serruys and the late Ron Shepley.
Loving mother to Kevin (Anne) Shepley, Cyndy (Steven Zugcic) Shepley, and step mother to Chris (Judy) Serruys, Dianna (Bob) Branton, Mike (Kelly) Serruys.
Grandmother to Kyle, Jordyn, Jake, Shawn, Aaron, Shayla, and step grandmother to 6 step grandchildren.
Great grandmother to Leah and 4 step great granchildren.
Sadly missed by nieces and nephews.
Audrey was an avid reader, enjoyed card playing, and crocheting afghans.
Cremation has taken place and a private family burial will occur at Mayhew Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Thamesville at a later date.
Donations made in memory of Audrey to the MS Society, Canadian Cancer Society and Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
