Arthur Henry Patrick Pat O’Keeffe October 19 1934 July 31 2021

Pat passed away at home July 31, 2021. He was born October 19th, 1934 in High River Alberta. He leaves behind his loving wife Rae, whom he shared over forty seven years of marriage; his four children, Susie, Thomas, Kathleen, and Andrew; and his nine grandchildren. Pat served thirty seven years with the Canadian government as quality control officer for Western Canada. He, along with his wife Rae, fostered children for over thirty five years.
He was also an active member of First Metropolitan United Church. Pat was a member of Britannia Lodge #73, active member of Queen City #5 of Eastern Star and Mizpath Court #2 – Order of the Amaranth. He served as Grand Royal Patron in the Grand Court of British Columbia. Pat generously supported juvenile diabetic research through BC Children’s Hospital research department.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday August 15th, 2021 at 1:00 pm at First Metropolitan United Church located at 932 Balmoral Rd., Victoria, B.C. Live stream link will be available on the McCall website.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to BC Children’s Hospital– Juvenile Diabetic Research ( bcchr.ca/research/research-themes/childhood-diseases/diabetes )
