Peacefully on July 22, 2021, husband, father, stepfather, grandpa, brother and uncle Ewart passed away at the age of 96. Dad was predeceased by his wife Margaret Roseanna, stepsons Gordon and George Clark, parents Georgina and Arthur, brother Harvey and brother- in-law Walt Parsonage.
Ewart is survived by his daughter Penny (Alex) Chernetski, stepdaughters; Arlene (Eric) Abrey, Margaret (Brian) Flamand, Karen (Syd) Church, daughters-in-law, Sandra Clark and Susan Fyfe, sister Doris Parsonage and brother Gerald (Lois) Hirst. Dad will be missed by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Dad loved to tinker in his garage, spend afternoons sitting on his deck and watching wrestling.
Our family would like to thank the staff at River Ridge II and the palliative care units of Health Sciences Centre, Misericordia Health Centre and a very special thanks to the staff and doctors at Grace Hospice.
Following Dad’s wishes, cremation has taken place to be followed by a private graveside gathering.
Flowers are greatly declined, should friends so desire, memorial donations may be made in Ewart/Arthurs’s name to the Grace Hospice, 300 Booth Drive Winnipeg, MB, R3J 3M7, or a charity of your choice.
