July 8, 1980 – October 22, 2021
The family is saddened to announce the passing of Antoinette Matechuk at the age of 41. She was predeceased by mother Valerie Matechuk, brother Kendall Matechuk, grandparents Thomas and Rose Matechuk, Joseph and Doreen Asapace; niece Ashton Ironchild; friends Ramona Assoon, Laura Firingstoney, Joe Crowe.
Antionette is survived by her daughter Jasmine, father Kevin Asapace, sisters Vanessa (Cory), Jenelle; brothers Owen, Hartley; adopted mom Joy Assoon, adopted grandparents Sid And Corrine, Helen Matechuk, friends Rita Favel, Brett Pratt, Penny Smoke, Shaun Mac, Tyrone and Alyssa, Candace W., numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunties, uncles and friends.

Wake will begin on Monday October 25, 2021 at 4:00 pm in the Asiniw-Kisik Education Complex, Kawacatoose First Nation. Funeral Service will be held the following day, Tuesday October 26, 2021 at 11 am in the same location. She will be laid to rest in the South Cemetery, Kawacatoose First Nation.
