Annette Marie (MacIntyre) (Keigan) Connors
October 31, 1940 – November 13, 2021

Annette Marie (MacIntyre) (Keigan) Connors
We are heartbroken to announce the unexpected passing of Annette Marie (MacIntyre) (Keigan) Connors at the Dartmouth General Hospital on November 13, 2021.
Ann was born in Florence, Cape Breton, October 31, 1940. She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Bertha (Devoe) MacIntyre. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Connors, children Susan (Pat) McCluskey, David, Sandra (Kelly) Deveau, Jon and Gary. Her world revolved around her grandchildren, Ryan, Matthew, Isaac, Laura, Jonathan, Kassidy, Keigan, Kassie (Phil) and great grandchildren, Amelia and Cole. She also dearly loved her daughter in law, Joanne Keigan. She embraced Ken’s family and will be dearly missed by Mike, Kenny, Peter, Susan, David and their families. She is survived by sisters, Martha (Mattie) Ferguson and Gloria Bonner.
She was predeceased by her late husband David Keigan, brothers Thomas, Billy, and Allie and sister Winnifred.
Ann raised her family in Dartmouth with her first husband Dave. For many years, she was a stay at home mother, embracing this role and always putting her children first. In 1985, Ann and Dave (original foodies), came up with Dave’s Famous Chicken Wing Sauce that we know and love to this day. After Dave’s passing, she entrusted the family recipe to her son in law, Pat whom she thought the world of and adored.
Ann made long lasting true friends throughout her life and was always willing to help anyone in need. Ann and Ken moved to Parkland in 2019 where she took on a beloved role of organizing socials and gatherings to bring love and laughter to the Parkland community. Staff at Parkland celebrated Ann’s ongoing involvement and recognized her as what it means to be a kind and true friend. She was always thinking of others, whether it was baking pies or delivering a pot of homemade chicken soup. Her grandchildren always looked forward to her chocolate chip cookies, which were a tradition for every celebration. She lived life to the fullest.
Sincere thanks to the staff at Parkland and emergency staff at the Dartmouth General Hospital. A special thanks to Dr. O’Brien, Nick and the team for their compassion and kindness.
No viewing by request. Private family burial at a later date.
Funeral service arrangements currently incomplete and will be posted when finalized.
