We are saddened to announce the passing of our beloved Anne Lockerbie-Thom who passed away surrounded by family at Southlake Regional Health Center in Newmarket on Friday, February 12th, 2021, in her 73rd year. Loving partner of Duke Deger. Devoted and cherished mother of Krisy and Steve and dear Mother-in-law to Rick. Anne will be sadly missed by her brother Bruce and her sister Lori and brother in law Casey. Anne was also the proud Grandmother of Max, Jake, Nick and Arielle. She was Auntie Anne to Kevin, Peter and Michelle and Great Aunt to Tyler. Daughter to Steve and Teresa Krutko.
Mom was an avid reader and would often read a book a day. She loved music, dancing and took great pleasure in feeding the squirrels outside her home. She had a sweet tooth and really enjoyed treats of any kind. Her birthday cards that she sent always included heartfelt messages and will be treasured forever. Every morning Mom woke up early and enjoyed a cup of tea with her morning prayers outside. There wasn’t a day that went by when Mom wouldn’t Include her loved ones in her morning ritual.
Her kindness, generous spirit and love for her family and friends will be missed and remembered by all of us who were blessed to have had Anne in our lives.
Though your smile is gone forever and your hand I cannot touch, I still have many memories of the one I love so much. Your memory is my keepsake, with which I’ll never part. God had you in his keeping, I have you in my heart.
We all love you and miss you so much!
