ANNE ALISE FISHER (THOBURN)
Anne passed away peacefully in her 94th year with family by her side in London Ontario on August 22, 2021. Loving mother of Cathy Scott (Craig), Michael Fisher, Martha Stratton (Rob), Janice Turner (Andrew) and Cindy Jewett (James). Cherished Nana to 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her loving husband Jim Fisher and parents Charles and Catharine Thoburn.
Anne lived each day of her life with style, and independence. She will be forever remembered by her friends for her kindness, warmth, generosity and perseverance. Her friends remember her as an avid skier at Devils Glen, eager tennis player at Muskoka Lakes and tending to her magnificent domestic garden. Anne’s grandchildren remember her enthusiastic support at the finish line of alpine ski races and community hockey games. Family and friends will long remember Anne’s bountiful summer banter at Hope Island sunset gatherings, preceding savoury dining room galas that piloted generations together as if they were one.

A private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to the London Humane Society or a charity of your choice.
