Obituary of Anna Lee Ramage
It is with profound sadness that the family and friends of Anna Lee Ramage (nee Weber) announce her peaceful passing on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at the age of 77 following a brief hospitalization. She will be lovingly remembered by her brothers and sisters-in-law Austin (Audrey pre) Ramage, Mervyn (Edythe pre) Dixon, Elizabeth Erickson, Ralph (Laura pre) Middlebrook and Ann (Roger pre) Ramage, as well as numerous other family members and friends. Anna Lee was predeceased by her loving husband Russell (1994) and her parents Lee and Ruby (nee Sheridan) Weber.
Anna Lee shared Russ’s passion for horses and was a familiar face at many racetracks across Southwestern Ontario. Everyone who knew her well, knew she could be found cheering from the barn, the sidelines or the comfort of her home on any given race day. A close race lost was always better than one that was won effortlessly.
At Anna Lee’s request, a private graveside service will be conducted at the Zion Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, Hepworth.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Wiarton Hospital and London Health Sciences Centre for their kind and compassionate care.
