The family announces with great sorrow her passing in Sudbury, Saturday, June 19, 2021 at the age of 87 years. Daughter of the late Moïse and the late Cécile (née Pilon) Gervais. Beloved wife of the late Marcel Rousseau. Loving mother of Lawrence (Linda), Claude (Louise), Yvon (Lesley), Raymond and Gérard (Rose). Dear sister of Ronald (late Marthe), René (Ruby), Fernande Breault (Jean-Paul) and Adeline Needs (late Duncan). Predeceased by her siblings Maurice (late Simone), Hormidas (Henriette), Marcel (Micheline), Edmée Pinet (late Omer) and Rolande St. Germain (late André). Cherished grandmother of Riley, Marnie, Steven, Jeffrey, Kramer, Kassidy, Gavan, Jasmine and great-grandmother of Mia May, Scarlett, Kelton John and Lennon. She is lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Special thank you to Bayshore for all the years of excellent care, the nurses and PSWs on the 8th floor at Health Sciences North for their kind and compassionate care. Due to the pandemic, a private family gathering will be held at the Cooperative Funeral Home, Sudbury, Wednesday, June 23, 2021. A private funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, June 24, 2021, at Ste-Anne des Pins Church, Sudbury. There will be a limit of attendees and masks are mandatory.
