It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of Ana Gabriel Faria dos Santos, called to be with our Lord on November 7th at the age of 91 years old, reuniting with her beloved husband Valduino dos Santos in heaven.
Born to José Garcia de Serpa and Maria Vieira dos Vais in the small town of Praia do Norte(Faial, Portugal) September 2, 1930. Beloved sister to José Faria, Eduina Faria, Maria Vieira Silva, Manuel de Serpa.
Ana is fondly remembered for her profound stories and her capability to provide comfort. Many will remember her gentleness and kindness, always giving what she had to others without falter. She adored spending time in the kitchen preparing meals for her family and found great joy in the unity food would bring. A devout servant to God, she never forgot to express her love and gratitude to Him. A devout mother and grandmother, she never hesitated to put her family first.
Ana’s proudest accomplishment is her family, she is survived by her five children, Ana Ventura (Joe Ventura), Elsa Da Silva (José Da Silva), Cecília Servideo (Domenic Servideo) Rosa De Faria (José De Faria), Manuel dos Santos (Pam Nicol). She will be deeply missed by her 9 grandchildren, Jennifer Graham, Kristina Lourenço , Brian Da Silva, Samantha De Faria, Daisy De Faria, Shannen Ventura, Noah Ventura, Patrick Servideo and Vanessa Servideo, and great grand children, Jordan Graham, Joseph Graham, Melena Lourenço, Kruz Lourenço and Lincoln Davies.
We will carry her light and her love in our hearts for eternity.
