Imelda Maude Pike (Edwards) (May 25 1938 – Dec 14 2018) and Aloysius Thomas Pike (June 28 1936 – July 5 2021) will come home to their final resting place, together, on July 28 2021, 2:00 pm at Saint Cecilia Roman Catholic Church Cemetery.
They are remembered lovingly by daughter Pamela Smith (Doug) and their son Kerry (Michelle), their late son Dean, beloved grandchildren David, Jacqueline, Andrew, Kyle, Sheldon, Tyler, and Ashley, as well as great grandchildren Leo, Liam, Maren, Ivy and Levi.
Both born and raised in St. Lawrence they moved their family to Schefferville in 1958 and some years later settled in Labrador City. Al would spend much of his life working for Iron Ore Company of Canada and Imelda spent most of her working life at Hudson’s Bay. A couple who rarely spent time apart, Imelda and Al spent their lives putting family and faith first ensuring that generations to come would understand the importance of the joy and love they created together. We will continue celebrating their memory knowing they are finally back together after perhaps the longest separation of their lifelong love story.
