Allison Stewart
1933-2021
SAINT-LOUIS-DE-KENT – Allison Stewart, 87, of
St-Louis, passed away peacefully at la Villa Maria on Monday, April
26, 2021. Born in Claire-Fontaine, he was the son of the late Roary
and Elizabeth (Hebert) Stewart. Before retiring, Allison worked as a
laborer for the Kouchibouguac National Park.
Allison leaves to mourn his four daughters, Angela Daigle
(Aurele) of St. Louis, Claudine Stewart (Harold) of Alberta, Virginia
Richard (Denis) of Saint John and Crystal Stewart of Aldouane; two
sons, Allan (Jeannine) of Aldouane and Darren (Lisa) of
Richibouctou-Village; as well as his 10 grandchildren and seven great
grandchildren.
Allison will also be sadly missed by his five sisters,
Roderica Dwyer (late Edward) of Miramichi, Minerva Robichaud (late
Benoit) of St. Louis, Helen Babineau (Clement) of St. Louis, Doris
Stewart of Aldouane and Brenda Stewart-Mallory (Burton) of Sus; his
brother Aldred (late Bertha) of St. Louis; as well as by his many
nieces and nephews.
Allison will also be sadly missed by his special friend,
Marie Blanchard of St. Louis.
Besides his parents, Allison was predeceased by his wife,
Eleonore (Daigle); and two brothers, Duncan and Roderick
« Junior ».
Visitation will be held at Thompson’s Memorial
Home, St. Louis on Thursday, April 29th, 2021
from 7-9pm ONLY. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, April
30th, 2021 at 11am, St-Louis-des-Francais Roman
Catholic Church, St. Louis.
Due to COVID-19 regulations, a maximum of 50 people at a time
are allowed in the funeral home. Masks are mandatory and we ask that
social distancing be respected.
