Allan’s Obituary
It is with great sadness, the family of the late Allan Munden announce his passing at the Corner Brook Long Term Care on Tuesday, May 4th, 2021 at the page of 85 years.
Leaving to mourn his sad loss is his wife Winnie (Kendell) of 51 years, children; Vaughn (Nadine) of Beaverbank, NS and Leanna (Ed) Flood of Corner Brook, NL, grandsons; Andrew, Matthew, Carter and Ben, step-grandson; Aaron, sister; Annie MacDonald of Halifax, NS and brother; Gilbert (Ruby) Munden of Isle aux Morts, NL, plus a large circle of extended Kendell and Way family as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Allan is predeceased by his parents; James and Julia Munden, brothers; Ronald, Jack, and Montford, and sisters; Emma, Hilda, and Mabel.
Allan enjoyed hunting, trout fishing and Newfoundland music. The family would like to give thanks to the staff on 3 North at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Centre for the special care Allan received.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 6th from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at East Haven Funeral Home Inc. The funeral service will be held on Friday, May 7th, at 2:00 p.m. from St. George’s Anglican Church in Burnt Islands officiated by The Rev. Canon Jeffrey Petten. Interment to follow at Hillside Haven Cemetery, Isle aux Morts Road, NL. Flowers are graciously accepted and donations in Allan’s memory can be made to the charity of one’s choice.
