The death occurred at his home in Knutsford on Saturday,
January 2, 2021 of Albert « Abbie » Sherman Lidstone aged 80,
beloved husband of Charlotte (nee Vey). Abbie was born in Knutsford on
July 21, 1940, son of the late Harold and Eliza (Gay)
Lidstone.
Cherished dad to Steven, Michael (Theresa) and Heather
(Kevin) Vincent. Loving grampy to Jeffrey (Melissa), Abbie-Anne
(Karl), Owen, Tony (Amber), Jake, Colby, Nathan (Kaitlin) and his
great grandchildren MacKenzie and Louie.
Dear brother to Greta (Keith) Paugh. Brother in law to Tish
Lidstone, Bessie, Lidstone, Shirley Lidstone, Harry Vey (Maggie) and
Mary Johnson (Sherman Waite).
Abbie was predeceased by his parents, brothers Howard, Keith,
Preston, Billy (Evelyn), Jimmy and sisters Helen (Ralph) Lidstone,
Isabel (Leonard) MacAusland, Etta Mae (Albert) Wallace, Birtie in
infancy, niece Wendy Paugh, nephew Jeff Vey, brothers and sisters in
law Elaine Groskoph (Nord), George Vey (Audrey) and Charles Vey
(Sandy).
Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary with
completed arrangements to be announced.
