Obituary for Alan « Dean » Egeto
Passed away peacefully after a valiant battle on June 6, 2021, at 69 years of age. Loving son of the late John Sr. and Eleanor Egeto. Dear father of Allan Egeto, Sarah Ackroyd, and Mandi. Treasured Papa of Emily Perkins and Miranda Ackroyd. Great papa of Aurora Rose Ackroyd, Sofia Dukes and Sapphire Rose. Brother of John and Tim Egeto. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Dean was a long-time member of the Holy Name of Jesus Church in Es. He was also a Past Grand Knight and Past District Deputy with the Knights of Columbus in Es. Dean was active in the St. Vincent de Paul for many years. He retired from Chrysler Canada with over 25 years of service.
There will be no visitation. A funeral mass will take place at the Holy Name of Jesus Parish (146 Talbot St. South Es) on Friday at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. Only those with a reservation and a facial covering will be granted access to the church. Please call the funeral home to reserve your seat between the hours of 9-4 p.m. Donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society. Kennedy Funeral Home Ltd.
