Wanetta F. Boone
1942-2021
Wanetta Faye Boone (nee Lawrence), of Hartland, NB, passed
away on Monday, April 26, 2021 at Eden’s Retirement Villa in
Fredericton, NB at the age of 79. She was born April 18,
1942.
Wanetta is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, John,
and her children: Cindy (Paul) Pike, Lower Sackville, NS, Roxanne
(Kevin) Galloway, New Maryland, NB, Beverly (David Loughead) Boone,
Grand Bay, NB, Raymond (Laurie) Boone, East Newbridge, NB, Sheldon
(JoAnn) Boone, Wakefield, NB; as well as her 9 grandchildren: Kareena
(Daniel) Belair, Ashland Pike, Brianna (John Morse) Galloway, Travis
(Ana) Galloway, Lucas (Kaitlin Nelson) Loughead, Riley Loughead, Ethan
(Carlene Brooks) Boone, Kristina (Bradley Terrio) Boone, Haylee Boone;
and 5 great grandchildren: Finnick & Oliver Belair, Evelyn
& Bennett Morse and Bentley Terrio; sisters: Bertha (Allan)
Palmer, Roberta (Dale) Webber, Leota (Brian) Sarchfield and Donna
Grace; sister-in-law, Brenda Lawrence; brother-in-law, Blair (Amber)
Ross, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Family meant the world
to Wanetta, and she loved unconditionally and
wholeheartedly.
Wanetta was the daughter of the late Ervine & Doris
Lawrence. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her precious
great granddaughter, Arya Belair; siblings, Weldon Lawrence and Linda
Ross; and brother-in-law, Dennis Grace.
Wanetta always kept her hands busy and had numerous baskets
of knitting, crochet work and quilting on the go. She was an awesome
baker, and many today still talk about her homemade doughnuts and
pies. She loved growing flowers and had a very gentle way and touch
with family, friends, and animals.
The family extends a special thank you to Eden’s
Retirement Villa for their care and exceptional support during this
difficult time.
Arrangements are under the care of Britton Funeral Home, 2
High Street, Hartland, NB. The Family deeply regrets, that due to
Covid-19, there will be no public visitation. A private family
interment will be held in the Greenwood Cemetery in
Hartland.
In lieu of flowers, if so desired, memorial donations may be
made to the Boone/BelyeaCemetery (contact Sheldon Boone at
506-324-0935), to the Alzheimer Society of New Brunswick, or to the
charity of the donor’s choice.
