It is with great sadness that the family of the late LUCY BLANCHE PRIOR of Marystown, NL, announces her passing at her home in Marystown, surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at the age of 62.
Lucy is predeceased by her parents Randell and Harriet Prior, brothers Allan and Thomas, and sisters Alice Maude, and Donna.
Leaving to mourn her son Bradley (Jennifer) Mitchell, Marystown, daughters Melissa Mitchell, Marystown, Lynsey Curtis (Jody), Jean de Baie, Roxy Mitchell (Jeff), Marystown; 6 grandchildren, Dominic, Madison, Rayna, Jayden, Charleigh and Damien; siblings Byron Prior (Audrey), Suzanne Prior (Paul), Joan Prior, Randell Prior (Claudine), Georgie Prior, Douglas Prior, Marjorie Anstey (Albert), and Aaron Baker; Special friends Anne Kelly and Pearl Follett, friends Charles and Tyrone Mitchell, special cousins Fred Grandy and Elaine Strowbridge, and special nephew Craig Mitchell; and a large number of relatives and friends.
The Mitchell Family will accept visitors at Peninsula Funeral Home in Creston South on Thursday, April 15th, from 2 pm – 9 pm and Friday from 10 am – noon, . A maximum of 50 people at any one time is permitted in the building. In order to maintain social distancing and to follow the public health advisory of COVID 19, a walk through visitation will take place on. A funeral service will be held at Peninsula Funeral Home, Creston South on a date to be decided, with inurnment to follow at a later date.
As per COVID – 19 regulations, everyone is asked to sign the contact tracing sheet upon entering the building and masks are required. Please note that there is no food permitted in the building.
Flowers are accepted or donations, in Lucy’s memory, may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
