It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Yvette Derikx (Dorval) on Sunday, April 4, 2021 at the age of 90. Yvette passed away peacefully at Hamilton General Hospital. Predeceased by her husband Theodore (Ted) Derikx. Loving mother of Peter, Paul (Kim) and Mary (Mansur). Loving grandmother of Karlene (Robert), Kortney (Hayden), Hayley (Matthew), Kimberley and Victoria and Great Grandmother of Ethan, Jack and Kieran. Yvette will be greatly missed by her brother Roland Dorval (Pauline) and many nieces and nephews and friends. There is peace in knowing that she will be reunited with her one true love – her husband Theodore (Ted). Special thanks to the staff at the Georgetown Hospital and the staff at Hamilton General Hospital for all the support they provided for Yvette. Family and friends are invited to visit at the McKERSIE-KOCHER FUNERAL HOME 114 Main St. E. Milton 905-878-4452 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm on Wednesday April 7, 2021. Mass of Christian Burial to take place on Thursday April 8, 2021 at 1pm at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 139 Martin Street, Milton. Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations in memory of Yvette to The Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
