Obituary of Reta Alice Laite
It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Reta Alice Laite announce her passing at the Carmelite House Palliative Care Unit, Grand Falls-Windsor on Monday, March 29, 2021. She was 77 years of age. Reta is predeceased by her parents Lewis and Margaret Rose, brother Reginald Rose, sister Viola Stroud, sister-in-law Phyllis Rees, brothers-in-law Gordon Laite, Levi Keats and Aubrey Mitchell. Leaving to mourn are her loving husband Terry, son Allan (Leona), daughter Terrielynn (Joey) Michelin; grandchildren Codi (Matthew) Walters, Tanner Laite, Shelby Laite, Abigail Blackmore, Brady Blackmore, Logan Blackmore, Brooklyn Michelin and great grandchild Bennett Walters. Also leaving to mourn sisters Gladys Keats and Isabella Mitchell, brothers Jim (Maxine) Rose, Ron (Joyce) Rose, Harold (Bev) Rose, and David (Millie) Rose. Special friends Doris Freake and Geneva Vardy along with many neices, nephews and other exended family. Reta was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister who put her family first. She enjoyed cooking, baking, knitting, shopping and attending church, she lived a full life of love and laughter.
Pastor Geoffrey Ryan will conduct the funeral service from The Windsor Pentcostal Church on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at 1 PM by invitation only due to COVID restrictions. Pallbearers are Joey Michelin, Lou Bennett, Dave Little, Brady Blackmore, Logan Blackmore, Clarence Skinner. Honorary pallbearer Ron Reid.
