Charles Richard « Rick » Thistle
1959-2021
Peacefully, surrounded by family at the Queen Elizabeth
Hospital on Friday, March 26, 2021 of Rick Thistle of Stratford, age
61 years. Beloved husband of Janice (nee MacMillan) Thistle and dear
father of Trevor (Samantha) Thistle and Emily (James) Baker. Also
survived by two loving grandchildren Isabella and Olivia Baker; his
mother Sylvia (nee Chandler)Thistle; sisters and brother Betty
McNally, Judy (Ted) Lawlor, Debbie (Allan) Thompson and Bob (Lorna)
Thistle; sisters-in-law Gwen MacMillan, Sarah McGuire and many nieces
and nephews.
He was predeceased by his father Joe Thistle; father-in-law
Joe MacMillan;brothers-in-law Ronnie and Aneas MacMillan and Allison
McNally.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral
Home.
Due to current restrictions, a private visitation and funeral
service will be held (invitation only).
The funeral service will be held in the funeral
home chapel and will be live streamed on Tuesday at 2p.m.
