J. Robert (Bob) Beairsto
1948-2021
The death occurred at the Atlantic Baptist Nursing Home,
Charlottetown on Monday March 8, 2021 of James Robert (Bob) Beairsto
formerly of Kensington aged 73 years. Son of the late James and Hattie
(Campbell) Beairsto. Left to mourn him is his brother Fred (Jean),
Kensington and sons Stephen Beairsto and Scott Hutcheon and fiancee
Laurel Tokuda and Scott’s daughter Cassie of Calgary Alberta. Also
left to mourn are his nephews and nieces, Dean (Trish) Beairsto,
Calgary, Greg (Olive) Beairsto, Kensington, and Heather-Mae
(Jonathan) Zinck of Dartmouth, N.S., 3 great nephews and nieces as
well as a number of cousins.
Bob was a former graduate in Electronics from Prince County
Vocational High School and a graduate of Devry Technical College in
Toronto, Ontario. After graduation, Bob worked for Nortel and then for
many years with MacLean Hunter in Toronto and then returned to P.E.I.
to take up a profession as a cottage lot buyer, seller and developer.
Bob was a very active member of the King Edward Masonic Lodge in
Malpeque, PEI. as well as a former member of the Grand Lodge
of PEI.
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington. Due
to Covid 19 restrictions no public visitation will be held.
A private funeral service will be available to watch
online on the Funeral Home’s website after 11 a.m.
on Friday. Interment later in People’s Cemetery
Malpeque. If so desired memorial contributions may be made to the
Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Cancer
Society.
