January 20, 1937 – March 6, 2021
Earle spent his later years in Dore Lake, SK with his companion Eva. He was a born carpenter and loved to keep busy. He was a bit of an inventor as well. Work smarter not harder was his motto. In 2013 he ended up on dialysis and while this was hard for him and his spouse they made it work, travelling over 600 km round trip three times a week. They did this for about two years with the help of family. He loved when the grandchildren and pets would tag along. In 2016 they decided Hemodialysis would provide better quality of life. He made the best despite his health conditions. In September of 2020 Earle decided to stop Hemodialysis and let nature take its course. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of James “Earle” Halsall. He passed away in Meadow Lake, SK with his lifelong companion by his side.
