He was predeceased by stepson, Michael; stepdaughter, Linda. In his earlier years when he wasn’t working you could find him attending bluegrass festivals, as well as dancing the night away with Gerry at local dance halls. Wendell enjoyed many evenings at the kitchen table talking with friends, family and neighbours. He loved to talk and tell us stories and we loved to listen. Wendell is a founding member of the Leicester Fire Department. He was a hard worker with a passion for dairy farming with his brother Leon and his family. He worked many years as a blueberry producer and worked over 50 years producing maple and selling his products province wide. The last few years he spent his summers at the cottage at Heather Beach with Gerry. He was planning to retire this year. Wendell will be loved and missed deeply by so many.
