Edwin « Ed » Knowlton
1943-2021
Following a lengthy illness, Edwin « Ed » Donald Knowlton of
Three Brooks, NB, passed away peacefully at Hotel Dieu St. Joseph
Hospital on February 7, 2021.
Ed was born in Plaster Rock, NB, on January 12, 1943. He was the son
of the late Nathan and Mildred (Brewer) Knowlton. Ed leaves behind his
daughter, Sandra (Yan) Duynhoven of Nymegen, the Netherlands; his
stepchildren, Daniel Morrissey (Rose) of Bairdsville, NB, Penny
Gregory (David) of Bairdsville, NB, James Morrissey (Faye) of Jasper,
Alabama, Linda Argoe of Orangeburg, South Carolina, John Morrissey
(Linda) of Aroostook, NB; his sisters, Edith Lamoureux (Robert) of
Oxbow, NB, Linda Knowlton of Anfield, NB; his grandchildren, Reese,
Katelyn, and Wesley; his step-grandchildren, Denise, DJ, Tony, Katie,
Joey, Dustin, Shelby, Martina, Jennifer, Patrick, Benjamin, and
Alicia; along with numerous great grandchildren, great great
grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Ed was predeceased by his parents; his wife, Mildred Knowlton
(Pelletier); his daughter, Debbie Davidson (Stewart); his
stepdaughter, Joan Brayall; his sister, Erma Knowlton, and his
brother, Glenn Knowlton.
Ed served with the Canadian Army with over 30 years of service.
A graveside service celebrating Ed’s life will be held at Two Brooks
Cemetery on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at 2 pm. Rev. Ellen Flemming
officiating. All are welcome to attend.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home,
Perth-Andover and Plaster Rock, NB.
