It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of their beloved Maria on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at the age 85. Loving and devoted wife of Leone for 65 years. Much loved mother of Aurora (Peter) DiPasquale, Antionetta, Julie (Ernie) Drago, and Leonora (John) Inglese. Cherished Nonna of Jenna (Andrew), Kristina (Bryan), Peter, Amanda (Tony), Sophia and Francesca and proud Mega-Nonna of Gabriella and Lily. Maria is now reunited with her parents Francesca and Michele, siblings Carmelina Geno, Nunzio, Mario and Vincenzo, and many loved ones who have passed before her. Maria will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, family and friends in Canada and Italy. Maria’s goal was to care and feed everyone who came into her home and always thought of others before herself. She had a passion for the garden that Leone tended with love until two years ago when he no longer could and then she took over. The beans, tomatoes, and zucchini were all her pride and joy. Maria’s love will stay with us forever in our hearts.
