Obituary of Johanna Fredrika Hoogendam
Johanna Hoogendam- (nee Verschoor) February 12, 1928 -January 29, 2021 It is with sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of
Johanna, age 92, beloved wife of Peter Hoogendam who went to be with her Lord.
Johanna outlived all her siblings. She was born in Delft, The Netherlands and immigrated to Canada with her husband in 1950. She was blessed with five children. She worked as a homemaker as well as helping run an orchard for a few years, and driving school bus for many years.
She dedicated many hours to knitting, crocheting, card making, and embroidery. The fruits of her labour were gifted to her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends. She also generated funds to local charities with her handiwork. “The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want.” Psalm 23:1
Johanna is survived by her husband, Peter Hoogendam of Beamsville, ON

18 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren.
