Peacefully in his sleep, Cornelis “Keith” VanOosterom went to be with his Lord and Saviour on Saturday, December 25, 2021, at the age of 94. Loving husband of the late Elisabeth « Bep » VanOosterom (2016) for over 60 years. Dear father of Joanne (Jack) Griffioen, Rick (Janiece) VanOosterom, and the late Carolyn VanOosterom (2013). Cherished Opa of Dan Griffioen, Lauryn (Ryan) Zorn, Shannon (John) Vanderlinde, and Jordon (Sarah) VanOosterom. Great Opa of Leah, Braeden, and Nolan Zorn, and Liam and Aiden Vanderlinde.
Survived by his sister Margaret VanderZweerde, and by his in-laws Jane VanOosterom, Bep VanVliet, and Henk and Alta VanVliet.
Remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his brothers Pete, Jim and Rick, and in-laws John and Linda VanVliet, Cor VanVliet, and Jake VanderZweerde.
A graveside service for family and friends will take place at 12:30 p.m. at Resurrection Cemetery (1885 London Line, Sarnia) on Thursday, December 30, 2021. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Living Hope Christian Reformed Church (1281 Exmouth St., Sarnia), followed by a Celebration of Life service at 2:00 p.m. at Living Hope Christian Reformed Church.
