It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. Roland G. La Flèche at the age of 89, husband of Jeannine Mousseau, on December 19, 2021 at the Quebec Heart and Lung Institute. He was the son of the late Mrs. Cora Desjardins and the late Mr. Paul-Émile La Flèche. He lived in Quebec City.

In accordance with the measures in effect, a rotation of 50 people at a time will be allowed during the condolences. Masks must be worn and distancing must be respected.
Given the current situation related to Covid-19, the religious service will be celebrated with the family only, on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 11 a.m. in Sainte-Ursule Church, 3431 Neilson Blvd., Quebec City.
He leaves in mourning, in addition to his wife Jeannine; his children : Suzanne (Daniel Nadeau), Marc-André, Marie-Hélène (Frédérick Dupret) and Jacques; his grandchildren: Antoine Pellerin (Roxane Beaulieu), Gabrielle Nadeau (Jean-Raphaël Breton) and Francis Nadeau (Audrey Lavoie); his great-grandson Charles Nadeau; his brother André (Lillian La Flèche); his sisters-in-law: Jacqueline (late Lucien Mousseau) and Gertrude (late Georges Mousseau) as well as his nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by his brother Bernard (Marthe Dion) and his sister Denise (Ralph Hancox).
The family would like to extend its sincere gratitude to the nursing staff of the Institut universitaire de cardiologie et pneumologie de Québec (geriatric and palliative wards) for their compassionate and excellent care.
