Bruce Wayne Sparks
It is with sadness the family announces the passing of Bruce Wayne Sparks, age 67 of Sarnia on December 25, 2021 at Vision Nursing Home. Those that are left to mourn his loss are brothers Steven Sparks (Joan), Tim Sparks (Brenda), Peter Sparks (Joan) and his sister Linda Burdett. Many nieces and nephews also survive. He was predeceased by his parents Ross (2011) and Joyce (2004) and brother in law Bill Burdett (2017). Bruce retired from the Sarnia Fire & Rescue Services after 28 years of service. He loved sports and played with the Sarnia Old Oilers Hockey and was a member of the Provincial Championship Lacrosse Sarnia Team in 1971. He was also an avid Habs and Bosox fan who loved to play golf. He spent many years at his beloved trailer overlooking the Maitland River and Lake Huron. Memorial donations made on memory of Bruce to the Canadian Cancer Society, Sarnia Humane Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Private family cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 102 N. Victoria St, Sarnia, ON, N7T 5W9.
