ZUMPANO, Concetta (nee Gioia)
Passed peacefully at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital on Saturday, December 25th, 2021 at the age of 84. Loving wife of the late Antonio Zumpano (1992); devoted mother of Mina (Brad) Hawranik and Mary (Vince) Stranges; proud grandmother of Connie (Dave), Anthony (Tessa), Elizabeth (Alex) and Jennifer; and great-grandmother to Owen, Carter, Graham and Miles. Concetta will also be deeply missed by her brothers Giulio and Cesare (Maria). Concetta’s passion was her faith and family, and nothing brought her greater joy then being together for a home cooked meal. We are going to miss her immensely. In her honour, and as she clearly instructed, we will continue her legacy of family, serving others and baking bread.
Visitation will be held at Smith’s Funeral Home, 485 Brant St on Wednesday, December 29th from 9:00 – 10:00am. Funeral Mass will be held at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church after the visitation on Wednesday, December 29th at 10:30am. Please RSVP through below by clicking the blue button and please bring proof of full vaccination. Private Entombment will take place at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Woodbridge, ON.
