Kenneth’s Obituary
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our brother Kenneth Hunt Saturday, December 18th,2021 at The Western Long Term Care, Palliative Care Unit in Corner Brook, NL.. Leaving to celebrate his life of 71 years are his brother and sisters; Tony, Jennifer and Angels (Jim). His nieces and nephews Bill (Danielle), Joanne, Krista (Terry), Darren (Marion), Alison (Rod) and Steven (Suzanna). His great nieces and nephews; Josh, Jenna, Lauren, Nicholas, Alexandra and Dana as well as awesome friends Duane and Brenda McCarthy and numerous other family & friends. Ken was predeceased by his loving partner of 25 years Judith Pygas, his parents Betty and James Hunt, sister Jean Martin, brother Chris Hunt, 2 yr. old brother Gerald Hunt and infant sister Wendy Hunt.
Kenneth was an amazing brother, uncle, teacher and friend. He enjoyed his career as a teacher and wrestling coach at Elwood High school in deer Lake and especially taking his students around the island over the years on wrestling tournaments.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Dr’s and nurses at The palliative Care unit for the exceptional care given to Ken while he was there.
Cremation will take place in keeping with Ken’s wishes and inturnment will take place at a later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel, 63 North Main St., Deer Lake.
