It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of William at Wentworth Lodge, surrounded by his loving family at the age of 66 on December 19, 2021. William is survived by his loving spouse Lucia (nee Scaglione) of 35 years marriage. Proud Father of Elisa, Joseph, Lucas and loving Nonno of Anthony, William, Daniella, Nicolas, Ariella, Josie and Elena. Survived by his parents Maria and Giuseppe, and Mother-in-law Giuseppina (the late Salvatore). Brother and Brother-in-law of Joseph (Lillian) and Nick (the late Patty), Joseph (Juliana) and Francesca (the late Tony). Also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. William was a dedicated professor at Brock University in the Economics Department for over 25 years. He was a talented musician and would often entertain his family playing the accordion, piano and saxophone. He had a passion for playing sports and coaching his children. A special thank you to doctors, nurses and staff at St. Joseph’s Healthcare and Wentworth Lodge for their care and compassion over the years. Visitation will be held at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL on Thursday December 23, 2021, from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass will take place at All Souls Church on Thursday at 12 p.m. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers donations to Alzheimer Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
