Peacefully on Sunday, December 19, 2021 at the age of 90. Beloved wife of John Kelly (1965). Dear mother of Paul (Sharon), Jim (2021) (Diane), Lillian Laporte (Bob), Mary-Ann Nakeff (Larry) and Valerie St.Onge (Dan). Cherished grandmother of Rob (Shannon), Shane (Carla), Kristin (Scott), Rhonda (Blake), Jamie (Tara), Natalie (Andrew), Nicole (Dave), Kelly (Kevin), Lindsay (Michelle), Tyler (Emily), Scott (Brittany), Kendra (Andrew). Great-grandmother of Blake, Taylor, Victoria, Nathan, Brooke, Logan, Jade, Holli, Genesta, Brayden, Catherine, Jayne, Dawson, Madison, Ryatt, Hudson, Owen, Tanner. Predeceased by her brother Albert (Annie) and her sister Verna (Verd). Joan will also be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 from 2:00 – 4:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. (RSVP for funeral is required). Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Breast Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Joan in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville.
