In loving memory of a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather Gerald Joseph Jean
Bouchard who passed away on Thursday December 16, 2021 in his 88th year. Husband of Frances Bouchard and the late Paulette (St. Laurent) Bouchard (1987). Father of Josee Bouchard, Christine Bouchard, and Luc Bouchard (Shekinah Bouchard). Grandfather of Julie Bouchard (James Noel), and Kira Bouchard, Cainan Bouchard. Stepfather of Heather Garland-Morrison (Kenneth Morrison), Kimberly Stockinger, Francine Dyksterhuis, and Sandra Reinhardt (Philip Reinhardt). Grandfather of Chasity (Stacy), Jamie (Trinia), Laurel, Amelia, Rebecca (Phillipe), Wyatt, Drew, Will, Abby, and 7 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Anita Farrell, and Maurice Bouchard. Missed by several nieces and nephews. Also missed by several good life long friends. Predeceased by parents Orezul and Bernadette Bouchard, and step-mother Elise Bouchard. Also predeceased by siblings, Andre, Leonard, and Yvon. Gerald was a valued long time employee of Labatt’s, working at locations in Montreal, London, Vancouver, and Brazil. He held Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Chemistry from Concordia University (Loyola College) in Montreal. Travel was a passion for Gerald & Frances. They enjoyed a trip around the world in 1996, and have spent winters in Florida since 1992. Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at the Falconer Funeral Homes – Bluewater Chapel, 201 Suncoast Dr. E., Goderich, on Wednesday December 29, 2021. A graveside service will be held at St. Peter’s Cemetery, London at a date to be announced. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Rheumatoid Arthritis Society, the Heart & Stroke Foundation, or the charity of one’s choice would be greatly appreciated.
